On Saturday, Southwest Georgia is showing their support for Phillip Phillips as the American Idol has returned for his hometown hero celebration.

Phillip's day started off at the Cumulus building on Broad Avenue. Upon on arrival, he was greeted by fans outside the studio. Once inside, he did interviews on Q102 and K-County.

Fans have already started to gather for Phillip's arrival to his father's pawn shop while Phillip visited children at Phoebe for a private concert!

Time for lunch has arrived and Phillip is getting the chicken and cheese nachos he wanted on Wednesday night's showing of American Idol.

Phillip has now made his way to his father's pawn shop in Albany where fans have gathered for quite awhile.

Updates could be slow as cell towers aren't use to the crowd that has gathered.
