Burglar uses plate glass window as entrance to Winn-Dixie

ALBANY, GA --
An early Tuesday morning burglary leaves a plate glass window broken at a local grocery store.
According to Albany police, officers responded to the Winn-Dixie located at 200 East Oakridge Drive in reference to a burglary. There they met Winn-Dixie employee Jeffery Carr who reported that unknown suspects made entry into the business by busting out the front plate glass window.
Officers say that once inside, the suspect stole five cartons of Newport cigarettes. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a green striped shirt and blue jeans.
