Broad Avenue Bridge demolition contract awarded

ALBANY,GA --
A construction company has been granted a contract to tear down the Broad Avenue Bridge.

PCL Civil Constructors, Inc. has been awarded an $11 million contract.

Craig Solomon with the Georgia Department of Transportation in Tifton says the next step is to meet with the company to set a schedule for the process, after which GDOT will give them a notice to proceed.
