ALBANY, GA --
A sketch provided by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations to the Albany Police Department for an armed robbery suspect has returned a name.

Albany police say the individual in this sketch has been identified as 26-year-old Steven Jamall Johnson. Johnson is a person of interest in an armed robbery that occurred on March 4, 2012 in the 2200 block of West Gordon Avenue at approximately 2:20 a.m.


 

Investigators say the victim reported that the suspect approached him while he was sitting in his vehicle and robbed him at gunpoint. Afterwards, the suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash and several of the victim’s personal items. The victim described the suspect as a black male, approximately 5’3 to 5’5 in height and weighing about 150 pounds. He also had a distinguished gap between his front teeth.  He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, a dark shirt, and blue jeans.
