ALBANY, GA. --
For all of you looking for something to do Friday night, how about picking out the next southwest Georgia superstar?

Albany Star will have its final show at the Albany Civic Center.

Contestants have battled over the last few weeks to take home the title and a winner will be crowned.

Phillip Phillips and his sister Lacey Neil have won in previous years. Both have gone on to success.

“We have games and prizes for the audience to keep them involved but we'll also use the audience to help pick our winners. We need them to come a little early to get their ballots and be in their seats at 7:00 p.m.,” says Rhonda Ware, Albany Star Coordinator.

The best part about Friday’s performance is that it is free and open to the public.

Door open early and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.
