CORDELE, GA -- Under-ringing a customer results in a felony arrest from the Cordele Police Department at Home Depot.

According to investigators, officers were dispatched to the Cordele Home Depot on April 30th in reference to a theft. They spoke with loss prevention personnel who stated that an employee by the name of Sha'Treka Daniel had been caught under-ringing a customer. The incidents had happened the previous week on April 24th and 25th. Loss prevention further stated that Daniel had allegedly voided some items off after scanning them and didn't scan some other items at all while allowing the customer to leave.

Authorities say they arrested Daniel and charged her with felony shoplifting due to the product loss having a value of over $300. Cordele police are following up on the customers benefiting from the under-ringing and that more charges could follow.
