ALBANY, GA --
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital hosted  a huge family affair to honor some graduates.

Over a hundred families that were in and out of Neonatal Intensive Care unit over the past three years were invited and participated in the event.

Those who attended got a chance to take pictures, play games, enjoy some cotton candy and much more.

Amanda Williams of the Children's Miracle Network told FOX 31 more about why it was important to bring together those involved in the lives of premature and or high-risk infants.

"Having all the families back together they will be able to reunited with nurses and doctors as well as friends they made with other babies that we're in that unit," Williams.

They're already looking into plans for another celebration next year.
