MITCHELL COUNTY, GA --
According to grand jury documents from Mitchell County, there will be a closer look at how Mitchell County handled it's EMS services.
The documents state that the grand jury voted to inquire into the EMS services and accounting practices of those receiving funds from the county.
The grand jury then appointed a committee to investigate the matters. Members include Emily Donnelly, Brenda Greene, Patsy Hatcher, Sheila Cain, and Allison Craig Chambliss.
The jury asked that the District Attorney meet with the committee and procure information via subpoenas and witnesses as to make recommendations to the grand jury on June 27th, 2012.
