Department of Labor stepping in to help Okinus recruit

PELHAM, GA --
The Georgia Department of Labor's (GDOL) Camilla Career Center will help Okinus Credit Solutions fill more than 20 job openings for account representatives, data clerks, and computer programmers in Pelham. The recruitment will be held Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 147 West Railroad St., the site of the company.

Okinus offers a no-credit-check plan for customers throughout the U.S. to purchase furniture for their homes. The company will be recruiting workers to approve customer applications and make customer collections.   

Applicants for the account representatives and data clerk positions must have typing and data-entry skills. Those who apply for the computer program positions must have a computer science (CS) degree or a management information systems (MIS) background. 

Annual salaries for computer programmers begin at $30,000. The salaries for the other positions are based on experience.
