ALBANY, GA --
Recycling should be part of an everyday routine; unfortunately, not everyone has accepted this idea. This Earth Day, the community is getting involved.

The recycling department at Darton College is reaching out to faculty and students to get involved. They are making students aware of what can and cannot be recycled. By taking the initiative to go out around campus and pick up trash, other students are taking notice and starting to lend a hand.

Earth Day happens once a year but it is never too late to be green or take part in Earth Day activities. Any person can step out in front of his/her house and make sure that their neighborhood is picked up. It is the right thing to do so that we can ensure that landfills don't fill up and that our community continues to maintain its' beauty.
