Police investigate downtown Albany shooting

ALBANY, GA. --
Albany Police Department are investigating after several shots are fired near downtown Albany.

Just before 6:00 p.m. Friday afternoon officers responded to the 300 block of West Tift Avenue in reference to gun shots.


 

The victim told authorities that someone had shot at him several times.

This case is being labeled as an aggravated assault.

No further information has been released at this time.
