Mitchell EMC President/CEO Tony Tucker talks about the company's 75th anniversary

CAMILLA, GA -- Mitchell EMC celebrated their 75th anniversary by inviting the public to go back in time and relive its history.
People gathered at the company's headquarters Friday afternoon where they could receive free eye and health exams, meet the mascot, listen to a speech made by FDR, or a man who looked like him, and learn about the important history to stay on the right track.
“We hope to educate our members to understand where we came from, obviously, but hopefully band together for the future,” said Tony Tucker, the President/CEO of Mitchell EMC.
The company has been providing electricity in southwest Georgia since 1937.
