ALBANY, GA -- In our Facebook story of the day you wanted to know what you can do about your allergies because of the pollen.

Trees have been blooming early this year because of warm weather we experienced during our winter.

Not having a lot of measurable rain fall to wash away the pollen has not been helpful either.

But allergy researchers expect to see a decrease in the numbers once the pecan trees finish.
However the Bermuda grass pollen is on the rise.

Nancy Mckemie with Allergy & Asthma Clinics of GA say "the most important thing would be to take an antihistamine by mouth, this will help with the sneezing and the itchy watery eyes and the drippy nose and that kind of thing."

The best way to get answers for your allergy problems is to consult with your primary physician.
