ALBANY, GA -- An Albany resident has come forward to claim his prize from the historic Mega Millions drawing held on March 30, 2012.

According to lottery officials, Kevin Hermann of Albany won $10,000 from the Mega Millions jackpot valued at $656 million.

The winning Quik Pic ticket was sold at the Chevron station located at 1405 U.S. Highway 82 West in Leesburg.

Lottery officials added that Hermann was one of 48 Georgia Lottery players to each win $10,000 in the drawing. Six Georgia Lottery winners won $250,000 each.
