BAKER COUNTY, GA --
Baker County officials say that the warrant issued for Michael Lanier was from the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and not the Baker County Sheriff's Office. Officials added that "even though Mr. Lanier was in the jail he bonded out and we are not actively looking for him at this time."

Lanier is wanted for a shooting Sunday April 1, 2012 on Coon Pond Road that injured a 34-year-old man.

Officials say Lanier was booked and released from the Miller County Jail.
