A dual ribbon cutting took place at one brand new Lee County business Wednesday afternoon.

The store manager is very excited to bring so more convenience to local Alltel customers from Leesburg.

The Albany-Dougherty and Lee County Chamber of Commerce both cut a ribbon to welcome the Alltel store to the Publix Complex.

Wendy Penny, Alltel Store Manager, says "right now we will be staffed with at least three employees to start with but the more traffic, the bigger we get, the more we want to grow."

Saturday, April 14, the new store will have it's official grand opening celebration.
