SYLVESTER, GA --
Sylvester Police confirm a Worth County man died this weekend after a farm accident.

Officials say James ‘Speed’ McDonald was using his tractor to clear land behind his house on Chapman road when the accident occurred.  McDonald was pulling a tree when it fell on the tractor and killed him.

McDonald was a retiree who previously worked in the Worth County Courthouse as a custodian for many years.  Officers say many knew and liked him and he’ll be missed in the community.
