The Darton College Science Club teamed up with local Boy Scouts and Middle Schoolers for a rocket competition.

ALBANY, GA -- The Darton College Science Club teamed up with local Boy Scouts and Middle Schoolers for a rocket competition.
Each team built an Explorer X-13 model rocket then launched them to see whose would fly the highest.
The Club hopes kids will learn to share their same passion for science and learning.
“You’ve got to show them at a young age that anything is possible and also at the same time the fun side to learning things and education. As long as you get them at a young age it will resonate a lot better,” said Kently Hall, Darton College Science Club President.
The afternoon ended with the finale launch of a DCSC Mustang rocket which flew more than 3,300 feet high.
