DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA --
Former teacher Dr. Lane Price announced her candidacy for the Member-at-Large position with the Dougherty County School Board.

Dr. Price is a physician who currently works at the Wilson Hospice House.
   
Price says she believes Dougherty County students deserve a School Board member with the values of honesty and integrity.

Price wants to be the watchdog for the School Board and she shared with us what she'll bring to the position.

Dr. Lane Price says "my ability to analyze, my honest that I can bring a fresh face a fresh look at the Dougherty County School System. I recognize the imperative value of a good school."

School Board elections will take place on July 31st. Price is running directly against Dr. Anita Williams-Brown.
