ALBANY, GA -- Albany Police responded Tuesday evening to a case of aggravated assault on West Gordon Avenue between a sister and her brother.

Authorities say that Raymond Brooks had been stabbed in the chest and arm by his 16-year-old sister. Brooks was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

His sister was transported to the Albany Police Department’s Investigative Bureau for questioning. She has been charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats and is being held at Albany's Regional Youth Detention Center.
