ALBANY, GA. --
According to AAA that although oil prices have made a slight decrease, gas prices are still increasing.

Right now the national average for a gallon of gas is $3.75.

Prices in Georgia are a little bit lower averaging around $3.70 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas.

That’s up five cents from last week.

Gas prices as high as $3.75 have been spotted in the Albany area.

Officials expect prices to continue climbing throughout the spring and summer.

There are rumors that if the trend continues the U.S. could see $5.00 dollar gas by the summer.
