ALBANY, GA --
EMS Director Bobby Tripp said goodbye Monday at a retirement party held in his honor.
It was held at EMS headquarters on Palmyra Road.
Tripp has served with EMS since 1972.
He says it's the people that have made a difference.
“My whole career, I’ve been surrounded by good people and that's what's made my career so enjoyable and rewarding is the people I’ve been associated with,” says Tripp.
Officials from the county, city, drug unit, and public works department were there.
Tripp's last day will be March 16.
