ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Police Department re-arrested a man who escaped from police custody.

On Friday March 2, 2012 police arrested Randy Cody after they were called to a domestic situation at 211 Cordele Road.  Once Cody was placed in the back seat of a patrol car with handcuffs on, he was able to crawl through the cage window and exit the driver’s side door.


 
Cody was re-arrested Saturday March 3, 2012 by the Albany Police Department with the help of Probations at 211 Cordele Road.  Police say he was not wearing handcuffs at the time he was re-arrested.
