The Tift County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Jentry Tremayne Brooks is in jail facing an aggravated assault charge.

According to the incident report on February 25, 2012 around 5:30 p.m. Jentry Brooks shot his brother Maurice Rashad Brooks in the back of the neck after a fight.  The shooting happened at 113 Quince Street in Tifton.

Maurice Brooks was taken to the Tift Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released for the small caliber gunshot wound.

Jentry Tremayne Brooks is in jail facing one charge of aggravated assault.
