ALBANY, GA. --
Wednesday many people across the country celebrated an event that only comes around every four years; their birthday.

When it's not a leap year, many of those born on February 29th either choose to celebrate a day ahead or a day after.

FOX 31 caught up with one birthday lady who says although her birthday comes once every four years, it's just an ordinary day.

“For my 16th birthday we did a pretty big thing because I was four and 16 at the same time but other than that it’s just a normal birthday,” said Jennifer Rogers.

Rogers, 24, is celebrating her sixth birthday.
