A Leesburg native is no longer practicing law as he awaits his day in court.

Searcy Donald McClure III voluntarily surrendered his license this morning as he awaits trial on felony cocaine possession and DUI charges.  If convicted – he faced being disbarred from the state of Georgia, but the Dougherty County Clerk’s office confirmed that he cut a deal to drop the cocaine charges if he surrendered his license..

McClure now only faces two charges including DUI and following too closely.
