Miami burglar captured in Dougherty County

ALBANY, GA. -- A wanted man out of Dade County, Florida is now behind bars in the Dougherty County Jail.

Brandon Landry, 29, is wanted out of Miami for three counts of burglary and possession of firearm.

An Albany police officer was dining in at the Krystal’s restaurant on Oglethorpe Blvd.  when Landry approached him.

The suspect approached the officer and revealed that he was wanted in Florida for burglary.

Once authorities confirmed the story, Landry was placed into handcuffed and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.

The suspect is now awaiting extradition to Miami, Florida to face charges.
