Suspect arrested in Paradise Village shooting

Cavoris Harvey has been arrested in connection to the Paradise Village shooting that occurred after Christmas of 2011.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -- Cavoris Harvey has been arrested in connection to the Paradise Village shooting that occurred after Christmas of 2011.

Investigators with the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office say that Harvey was located in the 1600 block of Whiting Avenue Friday morning. Officers received information that Harvey was at a residence there.

When authorities approached the residence, Harvey fled on foot and was chased by several deputies. Authorities say that Harvey surrendered to deputies after receiving instructions to surrender before being tased. Deputies say Harvey was not tased during the arrest.
