ALBANY, GA -- Social media is an invaluable tool for small businesses in Albany.

That's what Dougherty County Rotarians found at their meeting Tuesday.

Miloy Schwartz with the Lemonade Marketing Firm spoke on the subject.

She says one store downtown utilizes it well by posting new items in the store on Facebook.

“She posts it on Facebook and people say, 'hey will you hold that for me?' so it actually has even become a literal sales tool,” says Schwartz.

For some businesses, social media is all the advertising they're able to afford.
