ALBANY, GA -- There's no denying Whitney Houston was one of the greatest singers the music world has ever known.

Her life ended too soon Saturday afternoon.

Houston was found dead in her hotel room in the Beverly Hills Hilton.

Police reportedly discovered a half dozen bottles of medication in Houston’s room, including Xanax, used to treat anxiety.

“I was one praying that she would have a comeback. My thing is sometimes you have to be careful, we need to pray for one another instead of putting each other down,” says Enda Sangfield, who lives in Albany.

Fox News is reporting Houston was found in her bathtub and that paramedics were unable to revive her.

Houston was 48 years old.
