ALBANY, GA --
If your cat is stuck in a tree, or your dog is found caught in a storm drain...will local firemen come to the rescue?

The short answer? Yes!

That was the question in today's Facebook story of the day.

Albany firemen will gladly come to rescue your pet if they are ever in distress--and they've come across some weird situations.

“We've even had calls where dogs have somehow gotten into the walls of houses in between the sheetrock,” says Chief Allen Cravey of the Albany Fire Department.

To contact the fire department, call 229-431-3266.
