One hundred and fifty volunteers with Mission Change helped pack meals at the Harvest Food Bank earlier today.

A total of 1,275 boxes of food were assembled. As a result, 11,500 meals will be distributed throughout underserved areas in our community.

LaDonna Urick, the Executive Director of Mission Change wants to be able to go out and serve the families in Dougherty County to show them that people care.

Next month’s mission is scheduled for February 18 and they will be volunteering with the youth on 1st and Davis in Albany. For more information log on to their website: www.missionchange.com.
