Cigarette thief burglarizes convenience store

ALBANY, GA. -- Albany Police are looking into a burglary at the JMD Food Store located at 1800 east Oglethorpe Blvd.   

Officers responded to the convenience store just before 4:00 a.m. and found that someone had thrown a rock through the store's front window.

The suspect entered the business and got away with a coin container and two packs of cigarettes.

After viewing surveillance video, officers discovered that it was a black male who broke into the facility.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact authorities.
