Albany Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates milestone

The incoming chairman says they're sending out a message urging unity among businesses. “That's a huge voice that we have when it comes to advocating on behalf of our member businesses and we’re just creating a very positive proactive business climate in the Albany area,” said Albany Area Chamber of Commerce 2012 Chairman Miles Espy.

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce held its 102nd Annual Meeting Thursday night at the Darton College Cavaliers Auditorium.

The board recognized outgoing chairman, Judy Randall, and other outgoing board members.

During the celebration, the chamber also took a look at plans for the upcoming year.

The incoming chairman says they're sending out a message urging unity among businesses. “That's a huge voice that we have when it comes to advocating on behalf of our member businesses and we’re just creating a very positive proactive business climate in the Albany area,” said Albany Area Chamber of Commerce 2012 Chairman Miles Espy.
