ALBANY, GA -- Students, staff and alumni at Troy University partnered with local business to bring some holiday joy to local families in need.

They delivered meals to them, provided by Harvey’s, as well as clothes, shoes and other presents for the children.

The children they delivered to say they were thrilled to get new clothes. Some ran out of the house barefoot to greet the van and walked back into the house with new shoes.

City Commissioner Ivey Hines was also on hand to help.
