ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Museum of Art bestowed its highest honor on three amazing women Sunday evening.

The board of trustees appointed Anna Louise McCormack, Bee McCormack and Jane Seddon Willson lifetime trustees.

The museum was founded in 1983 and these women were part of the group that helped raise the funds to build what is now the museum of art building.

“They continue to support the museum and provide leadership and they've also inspired others to get involved in the community,” said the museum’s executive director, Nick Nelson.

The ladies received special plaques at a ceremony at the museum as a thank you for all their hard work.
