LEESBURG, GA -- Leesburg Police have named a person of interest after an armed robbery last week at P&K Convenience store.

The chief says community tips have fingered Albany resident William Arthur Young as the gunman.

The suspect walked into the store pointed a gun and forced everyone inside on the ground while he took money from the cash register.

“He was all in black, went in with a gun and robbed the store for several hundred dollars. William young has a history of robbery by snatching and from what we understand Dougherty County has some outstanding warrants on him,” said Chief Charles Moore.

If you have any information on the where about of Young, you're asked to call the Leesburg Police Department at 759-6465.
