LEE COUNTY, GA -- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating a case where a 20-year-old female disposed of her still-born twins in a trash can at her Crow Drive residence in Lee County.

GBI investigators say the female gave birth prematurely, then disposed of the children and did not notify authorities.

Investigators say charges stemming from this case will be made by the Lee County District Attorney’s Office once their investigation is complete.
