ALBANY, GA. -- Early voting for this year's run-off election has kicked off and officials say so far, so good.

87 people showed up on the first day and officials say they expect the number of voters to continue to increase until the election.

Anyone who is a registered voter for the city of Albany can vote in the run-off election, even if they didn't vote on November 8th.

Early voting will continue through this Friday at the Government Center on Pine Street.

“It's just an opportunity to come out and cast your ballet. Say if you’re going to be out of town or maybe you've already made up your mind to go ahead and you don't want to be in line on the election day,” said Elections Supervisor Ginger Nickerson.

All 21 voting precincts will be open on Tuesday, December 6th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the runoff election.
