ALBANY, GA. -- Millions of shoppers are expected to flock to online stores trying catch those bargains. Last year Cyber Monday shoppers spent billions in online stores.

Some say it's easier to compare prices online, while others do it to avoid crowds.

Although it’s a big day for internet shopping, some locals chose to spend the day at the mall.

“If I would have waited to shop online it would take time and I would have to pay for shipping and handling and I know most sites waive it but I want what I want now,” said Albany Mall Shopper Britannica Peterson.

Many stores are offering Cyber Monday deals throughout the week.
