ALBANY, GA -- Police are looking for a suspect who they believe may have struck twice Saturday night.

The first happened at 8:30 in the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue.

26-year-old Wade Rhodes was walking when two men, dressed all in black, assaulted Rhodes', striking him in the face.

One man had shoulder-length dreds and both had guns.

They got away with an undetermined amount of money from Rhode's wallet.

The second happened around 9:30 Saturday night in the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard.

The victim, 48-year-old Jerry Mathis, told police the suspect was a black male with shoulder-length dreds, six feet tall and 170 pounds.

Mathis says the suspect used his fists to threaten him and then took off after taking money from Mathis' wallet.

If anyone has any information about either of these cases, you are asked to contact the Albany Police Department.
