ALBANY, GA. -- Two people are recovering after being attacked by a gang.

The incident happened Saturday night near a park in the 1300 block of Avalon Ave.

Police say brother and sister Telisa Brown, 22, and Michael Brown, 18, were taking a walk with a 16-year-old when they were attacked by a gang of 10 males.

The victims tell police the group used their hands and feet in the assault, while the 16-year-old ran away to avoid the fight and find help.

After the beating, both victims were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for further observation.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The Albany Police Department Gang Investigation Unit is now handling the case.
