ALBANY, GA -- The Department of Family and Children Services and Walk By Faith Ministry partnered up to give families they serve a warm holiday meal complete with turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce.

Before the meal, the pastor gave them “food for the soul” to let the families know they are loved even when times are tough. He says the holidays are often tough times for some families who may be depressed about not having a job or not being able to provide for their family, so he wants to send them off with encouraging words.

Approximately 50 families attended according to Walk By Faith Ministry. The event is the first event of its kind for the church.
