Police cars swarm the Triple Diamond Lounge Monday afternoon after an attempted robbery  / Ashley Knight

Police are on the lookout for a man they say attempted to rob the Triple Diamond Lounge.

The lounge is located at 1009 Clark Avenue.

Witnesses told police a black male walked into the lounge armed with a gun and demanded money.

At some point, the gun went off inside the building and the suspect ran.

He may have gotten into a black or green Volvo or Mercedes.

The suspect did not get any cash before he fled the building.
