Lee County man connected to armed robberies

ALBANY, GA -- Sylvester Police arrested a man connected to multiple armed robberies and is possibly a suspect in an Albany carjacking.

Sylvester police say Jacob Lee Shockley, 25, from Lee County will be charged with motor vehicle theft and armed robbery in Worth County for robbing the Soda Pop Stop.

An investigator says charges in Colquitt County are pending for an armed robbery at a Doerun convenience store.

He says Shockley is also connected to an armed robbery at Moree's Liquor Store at the Worth and Dougherty County line.

An investigator says Shockley is a primary suspect in an attempted carjacking at the CVS on Westover Road in Albany.
