ALBANY, GA -- Officers say several illegal drugs were discovered during a raid at an Albany business Wednesday morning.

The Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit served a search warrant on Bio-Buzz on North Slappey Boulevard at about nine 9 a.m.

It's the culmination of about a year long undercover investigation, after several tips and complaints about illegal activity and products at the store.

“We have recovered spice and we will be seizing that. We have recovered some mushrooms. They appear to be psychedelic mushrooms and possibly psilocybin mushrooms and we think we have some stuff that is bath salt,” said Drug Unit commander, Major Bill Berry.

Officers say the owner has been fully cooperative in the investigation. So far no charges have been filed.
