ALBANY, GA -- Folks were partying down at the Veteran's Amphitheatre Saturday for the 3rd annual Oktoberfest!

There was a silent auction, music performed by the band "Relapse", and of course, a little alcohol.

Best of all, most of the proceeds went to the local Red Cross!

“We thought there was a need for Oktoberfest because no other nonprofit agency was putting one on and we filled a niche and I think it's a wonderful event and a wonderful time,” said Interim Chapter Director, Nigel Poole.

You can connect to the Red Cross on Facebook at Red Cross Flint River Chapter.
