ALBANY, GA -- The trial began Tuesday for Luis Galvan. He’s accused of molesting his stepdaughter on multiple occasions.
Prosecutors say authorities were alerted when the 9-year-old victim showed up to school crying and saying she was abused at home. Officials say the alleged molestation happened between 2007 and 2009.
One of the child's teachers took the witness stand at trial Tuesday. Prosecutors say they hope to have case wrapped up by the end of this week.
