Out of state Congressman endorses a local candidate

FOX 31’s partner the Albany Herald first reported that a U.S. Congressman was throwing his support behind a local candidate.

Congressman Bobby Rush is an Albany native and currently represents the 1st district in Illinois. Through a YouTube video Rush declared his support for Kowana McKinney for the Albany City Commission Ward Six seat. The seat is currently held by Tommie Postell.
