ALBANY, GA -- It was a giant play date; more than 50 kids and their families at the Butterfly Kisses play park in Lee County Saturday morning.

They also had horses and a clown.

The Butterfly Kisses park was built with special needs children in mind. Today's event was aimed at getting families out to the park who may have never been there before.

“We haven't actually had an event out here yet, so this is the first time that all the families have been out here. It's been open to the public since April,” said Traci Henry who organized the play group.

Allstate helped sponsor the play date; they talked to parents about insuring children with disabilities.
